REALLY.. DINT KNOW THAT...
at night before bed. I do this because it takes too much time in the morning to let partially air dry and then do the whole blow out process. I am able to get it perfectly straight with the help of a blowdryer (T3 Tourmaline evolution dryer) and a chi farouk flat iron. The problem is that when I wake up, it is curly again (not as curly as natural, but humid day style curly). If I flat iron it, it just gets that burnt out end look that is gross. So I blow it out dry and flat iron it again. It takes time, but not nearly as right out of the shower. I know that it cannot be healthy for my hair even though I use nothing but the best styling tools and procucts. I have tried sleeping with velcro rollers, but having large cylinders pinned to my skull doesn't make for a comfortable nights sleep. So my question is, is there anything that I can do to maintain my blowout overnight? Any styling tips, products or tools that you can recommend would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You could try sleeping with your hair up in a bobble or just blow-drying it at night and straightening it in the moring
Not sure if you are but dont wash your hair everyday.
If your hairs in bad condition try some weekly conditioning treatments or over night mask. (try ghd)
Always use a leave in conditioner and make sure you protect the hair whilst blowing and straightening. I find that Aussie miracle hair insurance and Paul Mitchell seal and shine works best for me.

i have the exact same problem. all you have to do is clip your hair alll the way in the top of you head in a bun but not tight because then it leaves a mark. that gets your hair out of the way. in the morning just use the flat iron for any little messed up parts and you can just blow out the end so they won't look crispyy
Use Chi Oil. It works great. If I straighten my hair at night, I usually have to just do a quick 'touch up' in the morning. Your hair gets curly again because of the humidity in the air. The Chi Oil really helps me. Plus, you can use some frizz-free kind of oil. I havent really found one of those that I like.

Have you ever thought about going to a professional salon and getting a straightener or relaxer put in your hair? A salon that you would trust, not the cheapest you can find...
Matrix makes a flat iron set in spray that you can try. I don't have curly hair but wavy. It does work for me. Just don't use a lot...it will make it oily!

you should wrap your hair at night. You can't just sleep on it after you blow dry it. I've done that (cus i hve curl hair too) if you wrap it it should come out better ad you also have to get something to cover it with when you wrap it.
You probably sweat because of the heat of the blow dryer so in your sleep your hair gets moisture, try using the cool button then maybe try a satin pillow case
Hey, thanks for taking the time of reading this! I have a really good Chi flat iron (Btw, my hair is sooo thick and curly!) But, it's pretty much down everyday.. I'm pretty sick of the same hair everyday if you know what I mean, it's like pretty annoying to be honest. Anyways, is there any cute hair styles or things I can do to my hair and make it different (It doesn't have to be quick I got time!) ok well i feel u... my hair is straight but i still flat iron it more with my chi... but anyways i would suggest a hot new haircut!! die your hair another color or just try a simple poof with your bangs (if you have any) if you dont cut some bangs! or pick it up some days and others curly and most straight if dats wat u feel comfortable with! ;D
Take a shower at night and braid it when it's wet that way in the morning it will be crimped.
try scrunching your hair, its a cute simple look and it takes out the extra time of having to dry your hair and straighten it every day!

I also recommend the scrunching. Use some mousse while your hair is still wet, makes a nice soft curly style.
is it good? I use the Remington Wet2Straight but I do have to use my regular CHI even after i used the Remington because the Remington kinda makes your hair frizzy. So how is the CHI WET TO DRY FLAT IRON?

since its a CHI, im guessing it works pretty well. I have the CHI turbo and it was well worth the money. I want to get the wet to dry, but i am also unsure of how it works. they have reviews all over their website and stuff. try that

Maybe it has short circuted. If you just the changed the plug, most likely they have and the fuse has gone. If u used an adaper there should be no problem . contact the company.

i used to have really straight hair but then i would just tie it up every night after my showers and thats how it became poofy. now my hair is really curly almost too curly sometimes. can anyone name some straighteners that are not too cheap but cheaper than a chi? i have a wigo and those things are a waste

There is no such thing as a good straightener, except a CHI hair straightener. you get your moneys worth with a CHI hair straightener.
I have curly, wavy, frizzy hair and dont forget thick.. But after I use the CHI hair straightener my hair is absolutley wonderful.
Dont waste your money in buying cheap hair straighteners.
Like I said, you will get your moneys worth with whatever you buy.
Buy something cheap = your hair will look terrible.

I would use any thick, ceramic straightener.
I have a Wet-2-Straight hair straightener and I LOVE IT! I don't know how expensive they are because I didn't buy it, but it would be worth every penny. The only thing I find with it, make sure you towel dry your hair really well before straightening it because if you just get out of the shower and use it right away, it doesn't straighten it just dries. and it looks really bad and poofy and frizzy. If you dry is mostly it works wonders!
I use a revlon straightner I think its a 1inch I bought for 25 dollars from target and it works very well.

HAI would be my choice, or the GHD. the chi..isn't really a good hair straightner despite what ppl think..it will not be able to last long unless your hair is thin. reason being chi is only a ceramic overlay not complete ceramic..disappointing...but im glad i did the research b4 i purchased one. it's overrated:) like i told someone else go to folica.com :) i got my HAI from their n my hair is thick %26amp; curly. works wonders.

I agree with the first comment. But Chi is good, doesn't leave your hair sticking up as much as sedu, although sedu DOES NOT pull hair. Trust me, get a 1 inch, not any bigger, as only the LENGTH of the straightener is what makes hair get straighter quicker. It's an old trick %26amp; you will regret getting a 1 1/2 in thick straightener, as you can't really do curls, only flips. You will want to make curls later on(you can curl the tips %26amp; comes out SO pretty!), %26amp; the less "thick" the plates are, the cheaper. check out folica.com %26amp; they have great prices for many straighteners(they have many different kind s of CHI's, they have the sedu, %26amp; many other brands including reviews.
