Chi or Sedu flat iorn?

i have decided to invest the money and get a good flat iorn. i just want to know which one i should get i hear a lot about the Chi iorn but as i was looking for one i started finding info on the Sedu. anyone who has info on either of the two let me know how u like it and how long it last. also my hair is kinda thick so i need something that will work well with course thick curly hair.

I've never tried the Sedu or heard anything, good or bad, about them. I do, however, have a Chi, and it works really well.

Try asking a beauty consultant at a nearby Sally's or even just the place you get your hair cut.

Good luck. (:

chi, handsdown are the best that money can buy, don't let any other gimmicks fool you, I am a hair stylist and could not function on a daily basis without my chi iron, i have tried others like the one that you mentioned but none compare, none..... chi is the best, and they are garunteed so you really can't go wrong....

hey there!

i would STRONGLY recomend a CHI straightner...just for the fact that it works well with most hair types and is 100% ceramic....but you should really ask your hair stylist or someone who is well respected in a salon because there are soooo many out there...

check out FHI too!!

Sedu. Works as well as the Chi and lasts longer.

Definitely get a Sedu, it will last longer than a CHI would (I've had both). Either would work for thick hair, but if you're going to be using it often, I would get a Sedu. CHI: http://www.folica.com/CHI_Ceramic_Fla_d1... and Sedu: http://www.folica.com/Sedu_Ionic_Cera_d1... . There's a small difference with quality between these two irons: they both work well, but the Sedu lasts longer, doesn't break easily, and causes less damage (over time and noticable damage). =)
