It is one of the best.. I have the original.. the only disadvantage of it is that it doesnt have a temperature control..you cant adjust the temperature.. But it works excellent.... You can straighten, flip, curl, and wave with that one little iron... as long as you use a heat/flat iron protectant, you are all set.... Plus, also take in play if your hair is thick or not.. if your hair is thin, i dont recommend it because it doesnt adjust the temperature.. it gets very hot... it will not burn off your hair dont worry... but it will be damaging...

When purchasing an iron these are good tips: that its ceramic, that it has temperature control, that it is either ionic or tourmaline (those are good additives) and that the temperatures can go up to 400 F or 200 C (they're both the same) also that it is ergonomic

I own a CHI, not the pink one but a oringal one and I love it!

I use it a lot but not too much because it does get hot and would probably burn my hair off. But my friend who is mixed and has really wavy hair uses my CHI and it's like she went to get a relaxer! I just love it soo much

It is better than most straighteners but not the best. It works great the very bad thing is that they break in less than a year. I mean you can only keep them for 2 1/2 years, tops. But that's pretty rare. THe best on the market is the Sedu. It doesn't break that easily and has ceramic and tourmaline plates.
