Can thinning hair help puffy hair ?

i have very very curly puffy hair.

can thinning hair help the back of my hair, its a nightmare, its always sticking up, straightening it with my chi, always gives me great soft straight hair, but the problem is that i want my curly hair back, but in the back, its a nighmare.

can thinning it make it better ?

i know what you mean. my hair is really curly and ALWAYS gets puffy in the back. but i recently went to the hair salon to get a hair cut and they really thinned it out and i was happy with the results.

thinning totally makes it better, layers also help.

thinning costs the same as a regular haircut, they use a special brush that they comb your hair with.

if your going to get your hair done i would get it done at a college forhair because they are being supervised by professionals and they pay more attention, and its way cheaper.

I had my hair thinned too. My stylist says its great for people with curly hair because it just takes a lot of the weight off. Normally most salons incorporate thinning with a hair cut... its like getting layers just a little different. They use this razor/scissor looking thing to thin it out and it really is a lot easier to maintain and a lot lighter too
