Is the chi chemically straightening thing really bad for your hair???
Should you get it done if you have kind of curly hiar but it straighten easily??
About how much would it cost for me to do it I have about 2 inches longer than shoulder length hair.
I want to get this done because I straighten my hair every day and it takes alot of time....I kind of wanted to know what would be worst having you hair chenically straightened or straightening you hair everyday.
Chi chemical straightening???
i think the heat from straightening it everyday would be worse. i've been wanting to do the same thing and had the same question, but im pretty sure the heat damage would be much worse than a one time thing, even though the chemicals arent the best for your hair either.

If you colour your hair, then straightening it aswell would have a more drying effect on your hair and your hair would be more damaged. Personally, I would straighten it over having to use a straightener every day. If you did it yourself, you would by 2 boxes of perming solution. (2 would be good for the length of your hair) instead of putting it up in rollers, you would keep combing it straight for the length of time indicated with a fine toothed comb so it is as straight as possible. Then you would by a really good deep conditioning treatment and use once a week for a few weeks. Or, you can get it done by a stylist at a salon. If you do get it done at a salon and don't want to pay big money, call up salon schools and get a student to do it. They need the training and there is a teacher right there to make sure it is done correctly. The price is so much cheaper and because they want to do good in school, I find they do a better job then some salon people who are in it for the money and do a rush job on your hair. I took hairdressing at a career school for hairstyling and the prices unreal compared to a salon. The teachers all have experience and have to stay up to date on stlyes and trends for hair.
