My senior pictures are coming up soon and I am going to wear my hair straight and down.?

How can I make sure my hair stays straight and non frizzy because humidity and my hair just doesn't mix and I see everyone with nice, sleek, stick straight hair. That is what I want but it never turns out that way. I even have an expensive Chi striaghtener. Any tips?

You need to get a product called MEMORY - you spray it on your hair before you straighten it and it helps to keep it that way.

Do you use a thermal styling spray before you flat iron? This not only helps to hold your style, but also protects your hair from heat damage. Redken and Kenra make great thermal styling sprays. If that isn't enough, and you live in a humid area, then there is a product by Sabino called Moisture Block that is a great humidity barrier. You put about a quarter size in your palms and scrunch through hair before drying, and also a drop or two from midshaft to ends before flat ironing to seal it in even more. Be careful not to put too much near your scalp, though, because it can make your hair look oily. If you have oily hair already, then you can decrease the amount you use before drying. You can play with it at home to see how much works for you the best.

I hope this helps to answer your question.

when your hair is soaking wet apply serum like the frizz-ease john frieda kind. then, while straightening apply a heat protector [this will help with the frizz %26amp; it will protect your hair from getting burnt]

when you're done, apply a bit more serum just to lock the look.

you're done!! :)

good luck
