What is the BEST conditionar and shampoo for damaged hair?

I straighten my hair alot, i have the chi protecting spray and when i spray it on it makes my hair look really greasy. What am i doing wrong?

And how to you prevent flyaways and frizz from straightening?

Any other tips would be apprciated!

Herbal essences straightning products, then blow dry, use a good straighting /flat iron, use the smothing serum,, very in expensive way to treat damaged hair...Also consider leaving the conditioner on for 10 minutes with a shower cap, while you are in the shower............

Use dove damage repair shampoo and conditioner. It's deep conditioner, so it's awesome. I find the chi protecting spray doesn't even work for my hair. My tips:

Cut off all your dead hair, it may be a lot, but it will look better.

DO NOT straighten your hair everyday; I used to do that, but now I put it up a lot, because I don't want to severly damage my hair. Use sunsilk anti-poof and Dove smoothing cream to get rid of poof and flyaways.

Try sometimes braiding your hair when wet, sleeping on it, and then talking them out in the morning. It looks great, and it doesnt cause damamge, and its a nice alternative than always straight hair.

Also, do hot oil treatments, and get your hair trimmed regularily.

Get a good leave in conditioner. I like the garnier fruictis leave in conditioners, and i also use the Beyond the Zone split end mender. it can be used as a leave in conditioner. anyways...if the chi protecting spray makes ur hair look greasy, then get a different kind of spray. there are LOTS of sprays. there a beyond the zone heat protecting spray at Sallys, and theres one from tressemme, and Nexxus. stuff like that. but i have really thick course curly hair, so i use a heat protecting cream. its from Loreal Nature's Therapy from sallys. people say spray hair spray on ur brush and then brush ur hair to calm the fly aways, but it doesnt work, and then some people say after u put on lotion rub ur hands on ur hair. but im not putting lotion on my hair after i straighten it cuz EVERYTIME i put something on my hair afteri straighten it, it starts to get wavy,.so...i use the Frizzease wind down. if ur hair looks greasy just from a protectant spray, then u should only use a little bit of frizzease winde down..or get the frizz ease serum. it helps a little bit, but i also use a little bit of wax on my hair. wax is very heavy, so when your hair is wet, you should rub it in your hands, just a little bit, and then rub it throughout all your hair.then take a boar bristle brush and spread it throughout the hair..to make sure its all over.and it wont be heavy on your hair at all.
