I have layered brown hair that goes to about 2 inches below my shoulders. I straighten it everyday with a Chi straightener but for some reason, a few minutes after I'm done straightening it, the ends of my hair seem to swing forward. I don't know why but it naturally does this.
Does anybody else's hair do this? What causes it and how do you prevent it?
Why does my hair tend to curve forward?
it is caused by the layers in your hair, layers are cut to do that kind of stuff naturally , let your hair grow out and then get them layers cut out then you can straighten your hair and it will stay straight. When using straighteners and blow dryers curling irons on your hair it can be damaging, i recommend using moisturizer shampoos, they help with the damage control , also hot oil treatments. good luck
Why does my hair tend to curve forward?
mine does that. I HATE IT. i don't know how to stop it. i did the exact same thing w/ layering it. i tried EVERYTHING, straigtening shampoos, etcetera.
the only thing that worked was my friends straightener, but it was $60.
i think the shortness causes it cuz it just curls up
Why does my hair tend to curve forward?
my hair used to curl under but now it curls forward after i cut it
Why does my hair tend to curve forward?
mine does that all the time but i don' treally mind i think it adds a bit of a flair to my hair, even though i have straight hair t has some waves that i keep to give it a littel somethin gextra. But, since you are trying to get rid of it i think i know what might be youre problem. If u shower @ night it will go behind your head while u sleep and will dry kind of twisted. And if u shower in the morning but keep a towel in it that will also do the same thing. Those are the two main reasons i know of that cause it. But it could also just be that because it is shorter it is also lighter so it just naturally flips
