Once a week rub some unrefined coconut oil into your hair. Comb it through and leave it in for an hour or so, then wash thoroughly with shampoo.

You'll love it.

Give your hair a break from flat ironing a few days a week. Curly hair is cute! You may also want to do a hot oil treatment at night one day a week. Also, make sure to get regular cuts since split ends make your hair look unhealthy.

Hair brush it.

A few minutes a day with a

hair brush can work wonders.

Let me help you with this.

You should use a shampoo and conditioner with conditioning properties. Such as www.renefurtereronline.com they have a great selection and price range.

Be sure your getting advice from your hairstylist and follow the instructions.

Good Luck

I only shampoo my hair like 3 out of 7 days of the week. I condition it everyday but dont shampoo it everyday. It will kill it. Plus it still looks clean. I straighten it too and it seems to be more healthy!

Ok, I know this sounds counterintuitive, but it worked for me. Stop using shampoo! Use only conditioner and water, every day or every couple of days. And get a good conditioner, makes all the difference. Try a few and see which works best for you. In addition, one of my friends swears by using honey as well as conditioner - apparently it's not sticky once you put it on wet hair!

first if u gurlz wanna make ur hair longer in shorter time brush it everyday from the roots and pull it back very hardly..if u wanna make ur hair healthy, cut the bottom of ur hair about 1 mm every 6 weeks ...sometimes egg wit mionese. will make it smooth and washing it in hot water is good. iron is so bad 4 hair ive tried it it makes the hair drier and ugly with no move just use a normal straightener!!

Careful with some of the answers given by others as many of them will destroy your hair. Anywho, what you need to do to keep your hair healthy and looking it's best is really dependent on what/if any chemicals are on it such as coloring, chemical straightening, bleaching, etc. Also you have to factor in the environment your hair is in. Being as I don't know the answers to those I'll tell you about my hair and hopefully you can glean something from my hair regimen.

My hair is naturally wavy and comes just below the bottom of my bra strap. I've been bleaching and coloring my hair with foils for many years. I've been using a chi iron for many years as well and for the record I wasn't impressed with chi's silk fusion either.

My hair suffered a good beating from the sun, salt water, and swimming pools and I started having to be much more careful of how I cared for my hair if I intended to continue coloring, bleaching, and straightening it with the chi iron. Soooo...

I only wash my hair when it is truly dirty. Fortunately for me I don't have oily hair and I wash my hair once or twice per week. I wash with Aquage Hydrating Shampoo and condition with Matrix ColorSmart Intensive Mask. When I condition, I comb the conditioner through my hair and leave it on for about three minutes then rinse with cool water. Next I spray Aquage Hydrating Mist on my hair and comb it through. I use Alterna Hemp Straightening Balm next and then I dry my hair.

I iron my hair in one inch sections. Many people seem to iron quickly and aimlessly at random sections of hair. Not cool as they are repeatedly ironing the same strands over and over in an effort to tame a few strands nearby. Extra heat = extra damage. When I'm through ironing I sparingly apply Aquage Ultrashine Complex.

I'm quite a fan of Aquage products as you might can tell, lol, but these products allow me to have soft, shiny, bleached, colored, straightened hair that gets complimented constantly by men and women alike.

Sorry about the novel there. Hair care is something I'm a wee bit passionate about. =P
