is the chi straightener good?

i know about how it breaks easily and everything, but i just want to know that apart from that does it straighten good?

and im talking about getting STRAIGHT AS A PIN HAIR!

The chi is awesome!!! I've had mine for 3 years and I've never had a problem! If you want super straight hair either go with the Chi or a marcel (not sure about the spelling)

I have the chi and i love it my stylist recommended it and its great. I have really curly natural hair and the chi gets it pin staright. It also looks very shiny aftrewards

2 things about the chi

you have to keep it plugged in for a while to get it to heat up well.

make sure you use a protective cream so you dont burn your hair

they also come in lots of great colors

mine hasnt broken yet and ive had it for 3 years

Chi is really good. I met with a rep from Farouk (they make chi) today. You have to look at it this way.....when you buy a new dishwasher, it comes with a warranty correct? The warranty is given not becuase they expect it to have a defect, but becuase all electrical appliances big or small, can be defective. Approx 10% of all Chi irons sold go back to the manufacturor with a defect. Considering 4.1 million chi irons were sold last year, I would say 10% is a pretty reasonable number.

Chi was the original flat iron and its still the best!

Ps - to the person who says the chi burned their hair and made it white.....its funny how an iron that only gets to 180C could do that to your hair....chi uses LESS heat then any other iron on the market. Nice Try tho
