What is the best flat iron uner $200 (besides Chi)?

i've had the original chi flat iron for over year, but the plates have come loose and snag my hair. can anyone recommend a better one? i have thick, black, wavy hair. my hairstylist suggested the Hai eLite Digistick. does anyone know if this is a good one?

I have HAI. I love it!!!! and I have influenced family and friends to get it too and they love it as well. Its only like $100 ... so thats half your budget. :-)

I havent used many other straighteners other than the ones at walmart, and the occasional chi at a salon or something, but I invested in a maxiglide straightener.

its a little bulky, but i love it. It comes witha steamer in there for the tough spots which comes in handy.

I havent tried the hai eLite digistick, nor have i heard of it, lol.

The maxiglide was about 100 when I bought it, it may have gone down.
