Cutting hair/straightening, HELP!?

i'm thinking about cutting my hair soon.

first of all, i would like to know if it will possibly look good.

(of course if i straighten it).

also, since i have short/thick/curly hair, i would also like to know what would be a good straightener to use.

i'm really thinking about buying a chi.

i have this revlon straightener right now that doesn't work bad, but it takes an hour to straighten my hair and it gets tiring!

any suggestions on what i should/could do?

my hair is the same way and i find that the shorter i cut it, the thicker and curlier it gets. that haircut would work but you would have to work at it. the chi would make your hair look super straight and thin. and then some products would finish it off good.

the only problem is those layers look really short and could be really hard to straighten, but im sure your hair cutter could tell you better then i could just but looking and feeling the texture of it.

I think that hair cut is really cute. I have a chi straightner, and they have been breaking about every 6 months. Usually they replace them for free, so thats why ive been using it so long. They do work really good, but just so you know if you start to straighten your hair every day your ends will probably get split and fried. At least mine do. The cut is very cute though! Good luck

It doesn't really matter what type of hair straightner you get, what matters most is how big the ceramic plates are, and how hot it gets to. Mine isn't that thick, but it gets to 400 degrees. Which works well =]

%26amp; For your hair cut, I think that'd look good on you, but since your hair is already kind of short, I wouldn't get it cut. Or if you were to get it cut just get like.. 1/2 and inch trim, and get your hair framed and layered.
