i have really frizzy, kinked-up hair and naturally, it just looks out of control. i have to straighten my hair with the chi whenever i want it to look nice. i have course hair and natural kinks in it in a few place. would the japanese yuko system be really bad in the long run? i know it's expensive but i'm more concerned with the long term effects.

some people like the results (it is very, very straight) but the side effect is that the texture of the hair becomes similar to that of horsehair. I wouldn't recommend it unless you really like horses.
